New art work is coming a long slowly. Work has been really stressful lately and being sick on top of that doesn't help. I've been getting massive migraines the past few days which makes it hard to look at the computer screen and sometimes even the soft lights on the Christmas Tree is unbearable. It's getting better little by little each day, so that's good.

I've been working a Christmas Card design for myself to send to my friends and family. I have the design all drawn out, just need to put it on good paper, paint it, scan it and print it on to cards. Once i get it on to good paper, the rest should go like clock work. The theme for the design is 'snow'. I'll post the finished piece as soon as I can!

At the same time, I'm putting together a small art kit for a kid in 3rd/4th grade. What she wants for Christmas is a blank book and some markers or colored pencils. So I thought, hey why not hand make the book for her and get a sketch book, some sketching pencils, and some really good colored pencils together for her. I'm planning on putting a note in there giving a lil background bout myself, my thoughts behind the gifts, and how to contact me if she would like advice on her book or about art in general. I'm excited!!

Back to work, the pencil and paper are callin my name!
